More importantly, Google actively look for sites with a unique identity; carbon copies will be punished and the more up to date, user friendly sites will always be preferred. Also, if a competitor is ranking well for that style, what makes you so different that you will knock an established site of its perch? If you’re that different, then let’s see you show it. Reflect it in your copy, hold your head up high and move forward.
Instead, research large companies and the way they handle their online identity. They don’t need to force the issue into the face of people looking at them and there is a hallmark ease with which information is put across. Many people do not like to be force-fed a sale, and writing for the customer in a relaxed way is a basic element of good customer service.
The irony of the keyword-stuffing school of thought is that the new Google Penguin 2.0 vigorously looks out for the hottest sites that are well-designed with relevant, up to date content. Writing flowing copy that is informative and relevant will be favoured by people and in turn favoured by the search engines. A lot of people ask me on a regular basis, what is the right length for a blog post?
While it’s hard to tell what the right length is exactly, I would say that an 800 to 1000 word post is usually considered to be the norm for valuable content when it comes to blogs.
When I write for my own and my clients’ blogs, however, we are talking more like 1000+ words. I actually do not write posts that are even 800 words anymore.
I do not write long articles on my blog just for the sake of using space, but to write high quality content with a lot of information. That takes some writing. I do not care about people who will just scan my content. I do not write for them in the first place.

Posting Media Sites
What I call posting media are sites such as Tumblr and Newsvine, for example, which are between social media and content sharing where you would have to write like a mini post of its own to promote the main big one on your blog. Do no copy from your own blog. Write new content and link your own blog post.
These sites are slightly different than social media; because you need to share other people’s content in order to have yours shared by others. Here I’m talking about sites such as Triberr, Social Buzz Club, and JustRetweet, for example, but there are many more.
I have been using EzineArticles since 2006 with a long break; I have to admit, because I’ve been very busy building my professional blogs, but article directories such as this one can help you promote your blog post as well. Just make sure your article is original, informative and follows all the rules.
It is very important that you share your blog post by way of RSS feeds as well. There are several very good RSS feed sites out there which allow you to share your content far and wide on Yahoo, Google MSN and much, much more.
